Our Current Bible Studies

God's revelation of Himself throughout history--and His instructions for righteous living--are all contained within His Holy Word, the Bible.                   Privileged are we to be able to study His Word with the leading of His Holy Spirit, for as the Bible itself tells us, "When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come" (John 16:13, ESV).

We can learn about God's heart and His worldview in the Bible. We can learn to be led of the Holy Spirit and to avoid being deceived in this life by reading His Holy Word. Bible Study is so important in the life of a Christian, for it helps us grow in the knowledge of God and in our relationship with Him.

Sunday Adult Bible Study

Christians are called to be holy as God is holy, to be witnesses for the Lord Jesus Christ, to live in the power of the Holy Spirit, and to declare the wonderful works of God. The Sunday Adult Bible Study allows us to go deep into the study of God's Word and affords participants an opportunity to ask questions and get answers. It is a special time of learning more about the Lord, what is important to Him, and what we need to know to live loyal and fruitful lives for Him.

At present, the Bible study is focusing on lessons about the Trinity and daily current events in our world today and how they connect to Bible prophecy.

Ladies' Bible Study

The Ladies' Bible Study meets bi-weekly on Wednesday nights, at 7:00 p.m. (September to June), in Somerset and affords the ladies in the congregation an opportunity to meet and study the Word of God--and just to fellowship together as women--in an even more relaxed environment.

This year, the ladies are studying the book of Hebrews (in the Bible).
